I'm going to be planning out my artistic goals for 2017. If anyone has any ideas on what is most important for me to focus on, I'd appreciate you leaving a comment on this journal a lot :) I promise that I wont get upset with any answers, no matter your skill level.

Thank you in advance!

Update:-
So after a few poll changes since I wasn't getting comments in the journal, and posting on Tumblr, my results, though few tallied up to:-

Colour improvement = 7 people (DA)

Diversity = 5 people (DA)

Relaxing my form = 3 (Tumblr)

That’s pretty much what I thought I needed to work on. Three things I’m already working on but are still very weak at. I’m not sure how to do this. Like… all of them are important. I think though that I need to pick one, or atleast prioritize one:-

Colour Improvement- This includes colour combos, and getting an actual colouring style that I’m comfortable with and are confident with. No matter how my colouring skills look right now, I’m very un-confident and usually prefer my art uncoloured which isn’t good.

Diversity- I’ve been trying to give my characters variation in face shape, nose, skin colour, hair, body types etc… but it requires proper study to get right cause a lot of my skin tones are getting read wrong, or my humans look alien cause I only know how to draw an idealised face and body.

Un-stiffening poses- Most of that is simply drawing a lot of poses in varying degrees of detail so that my hand remembers how limbs and muscles work. This takes a lot of time by its self.

Any ideas on which I should start with?

I personally think diversity to start with, cos if you get everything else perfect first it'll be hard to suddenly translate it onto entirely different body shapes etc with different shadows and different natural poses...
